With more than 20 years in the collision repair industry, Chief Corporate Development Officer Will Johnston continues to lead Service King and its corporate strategy through significant transformation for increased effectiveness and efficiency. Recently guiding the organization through the launch of its centralized operations, role specialization and new system integrations, Johnston is responsible for the leadership of the IT department, as well as Service King’s departments of Acquisition, Construction and Facilities. Overseeing the development and execution of critical business strategies and solutions, Johnston has played an indispensable role in leveraging technology advancements to automate, streamline, and centralize many business functions and processes.
Prior to his role as CCDO, Johnston led Service King’s Acquisition, Construction and Facilities departments as the organization’s Senior Vice President of Strategic Development & Acquisitions. Before joining Service King in 2012, he was influential to the growth and start-up of AutoBody America, serving as President and eventually leading the company to its expansion of twenty locations across three states. When Johnston and his co-owner sold the business to Service King, he officially joined the organization to provide leadership in sourcing, vetting, negotiation, due diligence, and closing activities management.
Before entering the collision industry, Johnston worked as a Consultant in the Business Process Design Department of Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting), working with companies such as Sprint, Alltel, and RCA. Johnston received a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Duke University.
