With more than two decades of experience at Service King Collision Repair Centers, Chris Abraham has earned a renowned reputation for his visionary and transformative leadership. Since taking the role of CEO in 2012, he is credited with leading Service King through a historic period of exponential growth, securing premier private equity backing, and positioning the organization as the national collision repair operator of choice.

Under his leadership, Service King has expanded from a Texas-based operation with 47 locations across the state — to a widely-recognized national brand that has more than tripled in value in just six years. Today, the organization employs nearly 7,000 teammates across 340 locations as one of the fastest-growing and most trusted auto body repair companies in the U.S.

Abraham’s Service King tenure dates back to 1995. Throughout his career, he has elevated from the role of Service Advisor, through various levels of management and senior leadership to his current position as CEO. That unique experience equips Abraham with unparalleled insight into both the collision repair industry and Service King’s unique culture of integrity, family, service, quality, and growth.

Shortly after being named CEO, Abraham helped lead Service King beyond Texas borders for the first time through two key acquisitions that expanded the company’s presence regionally across Arizona, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi.

In 2014, that accelerated growth continued as he helped secure and close a transformational partnership to acquire Allstate-owned Sterling Auto Body and its network of 62 repair centers. The move immediately expanded Service King’s reach to 20 states and doubled the company’s size. Not only did the acquisition significantly enhance Service King’s market share and operational capabilities, but it also marked the largest partnership of its kind in collision repair industry history.

Abraham was also instrumental in securing the backing of premier global investment and advisory firm Blackstone, which invested in majority ownership of Service King in July 2014. The deal, which also retained The Carlyle Group as minority shareholders, has fueled Service King’s ongoing national growth strategy, which has included the addition of more than 190 new locations, the complete build-out of key infrastructure areas, and the introduction of key corporate support functions to sustain and expand the business.

One of Abraham’s core accomplishments as CEO has also included the appointment of Service King’s senior executive team. In the midst of Service King’s robust growth, the company was named the No. 3 fastest growing Middle-Market business in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area by the Dallas Business Journal. It has also been recognized by the publication as one of DFW’s Best Places to Work for 15-straight years.

Today, with Blackstone’s backing and Abraham’s leadership, Service King continues to pace the collision repair industry in innovation, customer satisfaction, and overall quality.

Abraham is a native of Dallas, Texas and lives in Frisco, Texas with his wife and three daughters.
